Day 5 - Dan Shui

After the relaxing hotsprings bath in Xin Bei Tou,

We took the MRT to Dan Shui!

We went to Dan Shui Old Street for Ivy's favourite activity, Eating!

Day 5 - Yang Ming Shan, Xin Bei Tou

After the wasted trip to Yang Ming Book House,

We headed over to Ju Zi Hu, Bamboo Lake

After walking a much longer way... We finally reached Bamboo Lake

Man Tou!!! Yes after walking 45 mins to reach Bamboo lake,

We were famished.. At least I was...

After that, we took a bus but missed our next stop in Yang Ming Shan

Thanks to me -_-'

We went all the way straight to

Xin Bei Tou for Hotspring!

Day 5 - Yang Ming Shan

Yes.. We are finally at Day 5, halfway through the trip!

After a quick fix of a breakfast, we took the bus over to Yang Ming Shan

Having alighted at the bus depot..

We thought we should drop by the visitor centre..

(the signs at the bus depot make the visitor centre deceivingly near..-_-')

We have to trek through a good 500-700m of this terrain to reach the visitor centre

only to find....

That visitor centre is closed on every first Monday of the month..

Super unlucky..

Hence we waited in the semi-rural wilderness for the Feeder Bus to bring us to..

Yang Ming Shu Wu

After alighting.. seems like a long stroll again..

The view is really exhilarating..

Especially the flora and fauna

Day 4 - Back to Taipei and off to Shi Lin Night Market

Do not browse if hungry...

Aggravation of hunger may occur..

After reaching Taipei, we went back to our homestay

After leaving our luggage at the homestay,

We were supposed to meet Han Bin for dinner

Unfortunately he fell ill and was hospitalised

Hence we changed plans to go to Shi Lin Night Market

We started to shop around Shi Lin after that

And I decided its a hassle to bring tuggie around in the light rain

So after much walking, Ivy spotted some "soft toys" in glass cabinets

and thought its those UFO catcher thingy..

Until the "soft toys" started to move...

Its PUPPIES!!!

Okay.. no cameras were allowed hence its an quick draw for me

Day 3-4 - Pebble Paint and back to Taipei

After arriving back to homestay,

we start to paint on a pebble for souvenirs!
